PELAKSANAAN KOMUNIKASI VERBAL MELALUI METODE MATERNAL REFLEKTIF (MMR) PADA ANAK TUNARUNGU DI KELAS TAMAN 3 SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA (SLB) B KARNNAMANOHARA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan komunikasi verbal melalui Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR) pada anak tunarungu di Kelas Taman 3 Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) B Karnnamanohara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di SLB B Karnnamanohara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa tunarungu di kelas Taman 3 yaitu K, J, dan O. Penelitian ini bertempat di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi,dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai yaitu teknik analisis data deskriptif dan menggunakan triangulasi sebagai keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Penerapan komunikasi verbal melalui Metode Maternal Refletif (MMR) dapat dilihat dari tahapan pelaksanaan Metode Maternal Refletif (MMR) yaitu Perdati (percakapan dari hati ke hati), visualisasi, membaca hasil visualisasi, deposit, dan Percami (Membaca ideovisual) yang terintegrasi melalui kegiatan membaca, menulis, berbicara, dan mendengarkan di Kelas Taman 3. 2) Kelebihan Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR) yaitu a). Membantu melatih kepercayaan diri anak agar anak mampu berbicara tanpa rasa canggung dan rasa takut sehingga memudahkan adaptasi anak dengan lingkungan masyarakat dengar b). Memberikan suasana pengalaman berbahasa yang alamiah dan menggunakan benda nyata sehingga pemahaman anak tunarungu bertambah. 3) Dukungan sekolah dan orangtua dalam pelaksanaan Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR) dapat dilihat dari adanya program Bina Komunikasi, Persepsi, Bunyi, dan Irama (BKPBI), sarana dan prasarana di sekolah untuk mendukung pelaksanaan Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR), serta adanya pengulangan dan bercakap-cakap dengan orangtua dirumah.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of verbal communication through the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR) in deaf children at class Taman 3 Extraordinary School (SLB) B Karnnamanohara. This research is a qualitative study carried out in SLB B Karnnamanohara. This type of research is a descriptive study with research subjects namely deaf students in Taman 3 namely K, J, and O. This research is located at the Karnnamanohara Extraordinary School (SLB) with data collection techniques namely interviews, observation, and document analysis. The data analysis technique used is descriptive data analysis technique and uses triangulation as data validity. The results showed that 1) The application of verbal communication through the Maternal Refletive Method (MMR) can be seen from the stages of the implementation of the Maternal Refletive Method (MMR), namely Perdati (heart to heart conversation), visualization, reading the results of visualization, deposit, and Percami (Reading ideovisual ) which is integrated through reading, writing, speaking and listening activities in Class Taman 3. 2) Strengths of the Reflective Maternal (MMR) Method, namely a). Helps train the child's self confidence so that the child is able to speak without feeling awkward and fear making it easier for children to adapt to the environment of the listening community providing an atmosphere of natural language experience and using real objects so that the understanding of deaf children increases. 3) School and parent support in the implementation of the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR) can be seen from the existence of the Communication, Perception, Sound and Rhythm (BKPBI) program, facilities and infrastructure in schools to support the implementation of the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR), as well as repetition and conversing with parents at home.
