PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PANDUAN TEKNIK KATA DASAR DAN TEKKI KARATE SHOTOKAN THE MANUAL BOOK DEVELOPMENT OF SHOTOKAN BASIC KATA AND TEKKI KARATE TECHNIQUES

Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu memberikan referensi yang ditujukan kepada pelatih karate, atlet karate dan masyarakat umum dalam melatih salah satu teknik yakni teknik Kata Dasar dan Tekki Karate Shotokan untuk karateka aliran Shotokan serta memberikan gambaran dalam setiap gerakannya agar karateka lebih mudah untuk mempelajari dan menghafalkan teknik kata dasar dan tekki shotokan dalam bentuk buku panduan dengan media gambar/foto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah, yakni: identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, pembuatan produk, validasi ahli, revisi produk, uji coba, produk akhir. Subjek penelitian pada kelompok kecil 20 orang yang terdiri dari karateka dojo UKM Karate INKAI UNY dan pada uji coba kelompok besar 100 orang yang terdiri dari karateka latihan pusat INKAI DIY. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen berupa lembar penilaian. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil presentase penelitian ini adalah ahli media sebesar 98,33%, serta persentase kelayakan dari Ahli Materi sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan uji coba kelompok kecil didapati persentase kelayakan sebesar 83.9% dan uji coba lapangan sebesar 86,4%. Dengan demikian media ini dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media referensi dan pembelajaran untuk pelatih serta karateka aliran Shotokan.

Abstract This research was aimed to help giving reference that was addressed to karate coaches, karate athletes and public community in training one of techniques included Basic Kata and Tekki Karate Shotokan technique for Shotokan karateka and also giving image on each motion in order that karateka were easier to learn and memorize Basic Kata and Tekki Shotokan techniques in form of manual books by an image/photo media. This was a research and development study. The method used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) method. This research was conducted in some stages included: potentials and problems identification, information gathering, product design, product making, expert validation, product revision, experiment, final product. The research subjects was in small group of 20 people consisted of UKM karateka dojo of INKAI Karate of UNY and in big group experiment of 100 people consisted of central training karateka of INKAI DIY. Data gathering technique used was instrument in form of assessment sheets. This research data analysis technique was descriptive quantitatively and descriptive quantitatively. These research percentage was media experts of 98.33% and properness percentage from material expert of 100% based on a small group experiment obtained properness percentage of 83.9% and field experiment of 86.4%. Therefore this media was declared proper to be used as a reference and learning media for coaches and Shotokan karateka.
