Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan squat jump dan lunges terhadap tingkat kemampuan tendangan jarak jauh pemain sepak bola SSB Browidjoyo, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain “two groups pre-test-post-test design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemain sepak bola SSB Browidjoyo, Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 12 orang, yang diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Seluruh sampel tersebut dikenai pretest tendangan jarak jauh untuk menentukan kelompok treatment, diranking nilai pretestnya, kemudian dipasangkan (matched) dengan pola A-B-B-A dalam dua kelompok dengan anggota masing-masing 6 orang. Instrumen menggunakan tes kemampuan tendangan lambung dari Barrow, dengan validitas sebesar 0,978 dan reliabilitas sebesar 0,989. Analisis data menggunakan uji t taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan squat jump terhadap tingkat kemampuan tendangan jarak jauh pemain sepak bola SSB Browidjoyo, Yogyakarta, dengan t hitung 6,045 > t tabel 2,571, dan nilai signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05, dan kenaikan persentase sebesar 8,10%. (2) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan lunges terhadap tingkat kemampuan tendangan jarak jauh pemain sepak bola SSB Browidjoyo, Yogyakarta, dengan t hitung 2,797 > t tabel 2,571, dan nilai signifikansi 0,038 < 0,05, dan kenaikan persentase sebesar 2,73%. (3) Latihan squat jump lebih baik daripada latihan lunges terhadap tingkat kemampuan tendangan jarak jauh pemain sepak bola SSB Browidjoyo, Yogyakarta, dengan t hitung 3,163 > t tabel = 2,228 dan sig, 0,010 < 0,05.

(3) Squat jump is better than lunges training on the level of long-range kick ability of SSB Browidjoyo soccer players, Yogyakarta, with t count 3.163> t table = 2.288 and sig, 0.010 <0.05.
