Abstract


Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif anak autis di Sekolah Khusus Autis Bina Anggita Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru pendidikan jasmani, guru kelas, dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan langkah reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing (verification). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif di Sekolah Khusus Autis Bina Anggita Yogyakarta sudah sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan jasmani adaptif yaitu meningkatkan kualitas kognitif dan kemandirian siswa autis melalui aktivitas perkembangan motorik anak. Kegiatan pembelajaran telah mencakup sebagian besar kebutuhan siswa meskipun guru harus bekerja lebih keras dikarenakan jumlah siswa yang banyak. Proses pendampingan siswa autis dalam pembelajaran juga dilakukan oleh guru pendidikan jasmani yang bekerjasama dengan guru kelas agar tercipta suasana yang kondusif selama pembelajaran. Kata kunci : siswa autis, pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif. Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of adaptive physical education learning autistic children in Bina Anggita Special Needs Schools for Autism in Yogyakarta. The research used descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this research was the teacher of physical education, classroom teacher, and headmaster. Data gathering techniques used in the research observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis with step reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing (verification). The Result of the research showed that adaptive physical learning in Bina Anggita Yogyakarta Special School had swited with the learning goals of adaptive physical education in general which was students building cognitive quality and independency of autistic students through motoric development activity. The learning process in general had covered most of the students needs even though extra power was needed while theacer handled numerous students in the classrooms. In addition, there was a good cooperation between the physical teacher and the classroom teacher which made the learning and monitoring process ran smoothly.
