KETERAMPILAN LAY UP SHOOT SISWA PESERTA EKSTRAKURIKULER BOLABASKET SMP NEGERI 2 DEPOK

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tidak adanya latihan lay up shoot yang menekankan pada gerakan rangkaian yang baik dan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan lay up shoot siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler bolabasket SMP Negeri 2 Depok. Penelitian merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik tes. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler bolabasket SMP Negeri 2 Depok yang berjumlah 40 siswa yaitu putra 20 dan putri 20. Bentuk instrumen yang digunakan bersumber dari Imam Sodikun. Teknik analisis yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan lay up shoot siswa peserta ekstrakulikuler bolabasket SMP N 2 DEPOK yang berkategori sangat baik 1 orang atau 2,5%, baik 12 orang atau 30%, cukup baik 16 orang atau 40%, kurang 7 orang atau 17,5%, sangat kurang 4 orang atau 10%. Kata kunci : Lay up Shoot, Bolabasket Abstract The research background is that there is no layup shot exercise emphasizing a series of good and appropriate movements. This study aims to investigate the layup shot skills of the students participating the extracurricular basketball at SMP Negeri 2 Depok. This was a quantitative descriptive study. It used the survey method and the test technique. The research subjects were the students participating in the extracurricular basketball at SMP Negeri 2 Depok with a total of 40 students consisting of 20 males and 20 females. The research instrument was taken from Imam Sodikun. The analysis technique was the descriptive technique using percentages. The results of the study show that regarding the layup shot skills of the students participating in the extracurricular basketball at SMPN 2 Depok, 1 student or 2.5% is very good, 12 students or 30% are good, 16 students or 40% are fairly good, 7 students or 17.5% are poor, and 4 students or 10% are very poor.
