PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI PANDUAN PENCEGAHAN DAN PERAWATAN CEDERA UNTUK OLAHRAGA HIKING (SMARTPALA) BERBASIS ANDROID
Abstract
Abstrak Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah belum dikembangkannya aplikasi panduan pencegahan dan perawatan cedera yang layak untuk olahraga hiking dalam kondisi outdoor. Tujuannya menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi panduan pencegahan dan perawatan cedera untuk olahraga hiking berbasis android bagi pecinta alam pemula yang diberi nama SMARTPALA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan model deskriptif prosedural reaserch and development (R and D) melalui tahapan: (1) Menganalisis potensi dan masalah, (2) Studi literatur dan pengumpulan informasi, (3) Mendesain produk awal, (4) Pembuatan produk awal, (5) Revisi produk awal, (6) Pembuatan produk uji coba, (7) Uji coba terbatas, (8) Revisi produk uji coba terbatas, (9) Uji coba kelompok besar, (10) Revisi produk kelompok besar. Subyek penelitian adalah ahli materi, ahli media dan 50 pecinta alam pemula. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket berupa penilaian kualitas dan saran perbaikan produk. Data kualitatif dianalisis statistik deskriptif. Penilaian ahli materi diperoleh skor 4,725 kategori “Sangat Layak”. Penilaian ahli media diperoleh skor 4,15 kategori “Sangat Layak”. Pada uji coba terbatas didapatkan skor 62.96 kategori “Sangat Layak”. Uji coba kelompok besar didapatkan skor 165,45 kategori “Sangat Layak” Kata Kunci : android, hiking, panduan, pencegahan dan perawatan cedera THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID-BASED APPLICATION ON MANUAL OF HIKING INJURY PREVENTION AND TREATMENT (SMARTPALA) Abstract The background of this study is due to the absence of application containing a manual of hiking injury prevention and treatment for beginner outdoorsmen. This study aims to produce an Android-based application named SMARTPALA that can provide the manual. This is a Research and Development study using a procedural research and development (R and D) model. There are 10 steps conducted: (1) potential and problems analysis, (2) literature review and data collection, (3) product design, (4) early product making, (5) early product revision, (6) trials product making, (7) limited try-out, (8) product revision, (9) final try-out, (10) the second revision. The subjects of the study are the material expert, media expert, and 50 beginner outdoorsmens. The data were collected through questionnaires for assessment result upon the product quality and feedback results. The qualitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The assessment result by the material expert is 4.725 with “Very Appropriate” category while it is 4.15 by the media expert with the same category. The limited try-out shows “Very Appropriate” category with the average score by 62.96. The final try-out results the same category in average score by 165.45.
