UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA DI SD N CEPIT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BENDA KONGKRIT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika menggunakan media benda konkret pada siswa kelas III SD N Cepit. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Cepit yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan nilai siswa. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata yaitu dari prasiklus sebesar 63,75 siklus I sebesar 77 dan siklus II menjadi 88,75 pada. Persentase ketuntasan pada prasiklus mencapai 35%, siklus I mencapai 70%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 100%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dilihat adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari prasiklus ke siklus I meningkat 13,25 , dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat 11,75 dan dari prasiklus ke siklus II 26.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve the learning outcome of mathematic by using the media of concrete object to the students’ batch III at SDN Cepit. The research was a class action research. Subject in the research was students’ batch III, at numbered 20 students. The method used to collect data was test and observation. Data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative descriptive. Research result showed that there is improvement in the learning outcome of mathematic in the students’ batch III. This is can be seen from the improvement of the students score. The improvement of average score was from pre-cycle as many 63,75, cycle I as many 77 and cycle II as many 88,75. The completeness percentage on the pre cycle reached to 70%, and on the cycle II reached to 100%. By the result, it can be seen there is improvement of the average score from the pre cycle to cycle I improved 13,25, from the cycle I to the cycle II improved 11,75 and from the pre cycle to the cycle II improved 26.
