PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI QUANTUM TEACHING PADA KELAS VB

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) melalui model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching pada siswa kelas VB SD Negeri Demakijo 1 Gamping Sleman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas secara kolaboratif dengan guru kelas. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis & Mc.Taggart. Subjek penelitian meliputi siswa kelas VB yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) melalui model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas VB melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Terdapat 6 siswa (15.15%) yang mencapai KKM pada pratindakan. Pada siklus I sebanyak 22 siswa (66.67%) telah mencapai KKM. Persentase aktivitas siswa siklus I yaitu 78.83%. Pada siklus II terdapat 29 siswa (87.88%) telah mencapai KKM. Persentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus II yaitu 85.08%.

Abstract
This research is aimed to improve the Social Studies Learning achievement through Quantum Teaching implementation model of the students of the class VB in SD Negeri Demakijo 1 Gamping Sleman. The type of this research was collaborative classroom action research with classroom teacher of VB. The research design used in this research was that of Kemmis & Mc.Taggart. The subjects of this research were 33 students of class VB. The object of this research was the Social Studies Learning achievement through Quantum Teaching implementation model. The data was collected throught tests and observations. The data analysis method was done using the quantitative descriptive. The results of this research show that there was an improvement in the Social Studies Learning achievement through Quantum Teaching implementation model. There were 6 students (15.15%) that reach the KKM on the pre-action. On cycle I, there were 22 students (15.15%) that reach the KKM. The percentage of student activities on cycle I was 78.83%. On cycle II, there were 29 students (87.88%) that reach the KKM. The percentage of student activities on cycle II was 85.08%.
