Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan pengembangan diri di SD Lempuyangan 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dam dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan pengembangan diri dapat dilihat dalam pramuka, drumband, murottal, futsal, seni lukis, seni tari, dan komputer. Pramuka menanamkan religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, menghargai prestasi, dan tanggung jawab. Drumband menanamkan religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, menghargai prestasi, dan tanggung jawab. Murottal menanamkan religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, menghargai prestasi, dan tanggung jawab. Futsal menanamkan religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, dan menghargai prestasi. Seni lukis menanamkan jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, demokratis, menghargai prestasi, dan tanggung jawab. Seni tari menanamkan relgius, toleransi, kerja keras, menghargai prestasi, dan tanggung jawab. Komputer menanamkan religius, jujur, disiplin, dan peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the character education through self development program at SD Lempuyangan 1 Yogyakarta. This research was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed used Miles & Huberman model. The result shows that the character education through self development program could be seen in scout, drumband, murottal, footsal, painting, dancing, and computer program. Scout grows religious, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hardworking, appreciating achievement, and responsibility. Drumband grows religious, tolerance, discipline, hardworking, appreciating achievement, and responsibility. Murottal grows religious, honesty, discipline, hardworking, appreciating achievement, and responsibility. Footsal grows religious, tolerance, discipline, hardworking, and appreciating achievement. Painting grows honesty, hardworking, creative, democratic, appreciating achievement, and responsibility. Dancing grows religious, tolerance, hardworking, appreciating achievement, and responsibility. computer program grows religious, honesty, discipline, and environment caring.
