PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF IPA MELALUI GROUP INVESTIGATION DI SD NEGERI 3 SIRAU

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar kognitif IPA melalui model Group Investigation (GI). Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan desain model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Maret hingga September 2016 di SD Negeri 3 Sirau. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar kognitif IPA. Pada pra siklus, persentase keaktifan siswa sebesar 52,77% dan hasil belajar IPA memiliki rata-rata 62,5. Pada siklus I, persentase keaktifan siswa meningkat sebesar 68,24% dan hasil belajar IPA memiliki rata-rata 69. Pada siklus II, persentase keaktifan siswa meningkat sebesar 83,11% dan hasil belajar IPA memiliki rata-rata 77,33 dan telah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Peningkatan aspek ditunjukkan dengan adanya semangat, antusias dalam pembelajaran dan keberanian dalam menyampaikan laporan.

Abstract 

The purpose of this research is to increase activeness and cognitive learning science through Group Investigation model. The research was Classroom Action Research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart Model. Subject were the 5th grade students. Research was carried out during March-September 2016 in Sirau 3 Elementary School. Data collection were based on observation and test result. Data were analysed by qualitative and quantitative. The result shows the increasing of activeness and cognitive learning science. In prior cycle, percentage of student’s activeness is 52,77% and average of cognitive learning science is 62,5. In 1st cycle, the percentage activeness is 68,24% and average of cognitive learning science is 69. In 2nd cycle, the percentage of activeness is increase 83,11%  and averaged cognitive learning science is 77,33 and had fulfilled successful criteria of study. The increasing of aspects is shown by the presence of spirit and enthusiasm in learning and so do the bravery in deliver the report.
