Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi sifat-sifat bangun ruang melalui model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 3 Jarakan Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Jarakan yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu peningkatan hasil belajar matematika. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, pedoman penilaian tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan model pembelajaran CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V. Peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang semakin terlihat pada siklus II yang dilaksanakan dengan memperbaiki kekurangan-kekurangan yang ada pada siklus I.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of properties of space figures through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model for Grade V students of SD Negeri 3 Jarakan, Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This was a classroom action research study. The research subjects were Grade V students of SD Negeri 3 Jarakan with a total of 29 students. The object in the study was the improvement of the mathematics learning outcomes. The data collecting instruments were an observation sheet, a test scoring rubric, and documentation. The results of the study show that the CTL model is capable of improving the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade V students. The improvement of the mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of space figures can be seen in Cycle II, which is implement by eliminating the drawbacks in Cycle I.
