PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL KOOPERATIF MELALUI TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Kanisius Pugeran pada mata pelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Head Together. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart.Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Number Head Together siswa kelas IV. Peningkatan tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil tes pada siklus I ada 17 siswa atau 44.73% dari seluruh siswa yang mendapat nilai ≥70, sedangkan hasil tes pada siklus II ada 32 siswa atau 84.21% dari seluruh siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≥70. Hal ini berarti mengalami peningkatan persentase siswa yang mendapat nilai ≥70 dari siklus I ke siklus II sebanyak 38.48%. Nilai rata-rata hasil tes dari siklus I ke siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan dari 67.76 menjadi 77.36 artinya meningkat sebanyak 9.6.

Abstract

This research aims to improve SD Kanisius Pugeran fourth grade of mathematic learning achievement using cooperative model numbered heads together type. This was classroom action research using Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. Data collection techniques used test, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. These results indicate that there is an increase of mathematic learning achievement of fourt grade students using cooperative model numbered heads together type. This increase is evidenced by the results of tests on the first cycle there are 17 students or 44.73% of all students who scored ≥70, while the results of the test on the second cycle, there are 32 students or 84.21% of all students who scored ≥70. This means an increase in the percentage of students who scored ≥70 from the first cycle to the second cycle as much as 38.48%. The average value of the test results from the first cycle to the second cycle also increased from 67.76 into 77.36 means increased by 9.6.
