PELAKSANAAN BELAJAR MANDIRI DI KELAS IV SD IT SALMAN AL FARISI 1 YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan dan hambatan belajar mandiri di kelas IV SD IT Salman Al Farisi 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini deksriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini guru dan siswa. Objek penelitian berupa pelaksanaan belajar mandiri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, kajian dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi, display, dan verifikasi data. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan belajar mandiri yaitu kegiatan belajar aktif; adanya motivasi belajar; tujuan hingga evaluasi belajar dikelola sendiri; guru berperan dalam memberikan pengetahuan dasar yang membangun, mentor, dan penasehat (2) kendalanya yaitu aktivitas belajar kurang optimal seperti tidak mengerjakan PR; fasilitas kegiatan belajar aktif kurang optimal seperti lab komputer; pemanfaatan perpustakaan belum optimal; sikap tanggungjawab, manajemen waktu, dan disiplin dalam belajar siswa tetap dibutuhkan motivasi dalam menjaga keberadaannya; tidak semua siswa mau menceritakan masalahnya kepada guru secara personal dan menjadikan guru sebagai mentor dan penasehat.

Abstract

This research aim to describe applications and constraints of self-learning in 4thgrade class SD IT Salman Al Farisi 1 Yogyakarta. This study was descriptive qualitative research. Subject were the teachers and students. The object was the applications of self-learning. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed by data reduction techniques, display of the data, and verification. The data validation used techniques and source triangulation. The result show (1) applications of self-learning are active learning activities; there are motivations to learn; self managed learning of aim and evaluation; teachers provide scaffolding, mentoring, advising (2) constraints in the applications are effective learning behavior suboptimal still exist, in case is doing homework; learning facilities are less than ideal for example computer lab; library is underused optimum; responsibility, time management, and discipline of students learning still need motivations for its existence; not all students want to tell the problem personally and make the teacher as their mentor and adviser.
