PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MENGGUNAKAN METODE MIND MAPPING DI KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial menggunakan metode Mind mapping. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Tiyaran 1, Bulu, Sukoharjo yang berjumlah 13 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Mind mapping pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang diperoleh siswa pada setiap akhir siklus menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar IPS. Persentase ketuntasan pada pratindakan sebesar 53.84%, Siklus I sebesar 69.23%, dan siklus II sebesar 93.30%. metode tersebut juga membuat siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan perhatian saat proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This research aims at improving the social learning achievement by using Mind mapping. The kind of this research was action research by Kemmis and Taggart. The subject of this research was 13 students of 4rd grade of SD Negeri Tiyaran 1, Bulu, Sukoharjo. The technique analyse quantitative data was using quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The result of this research shows that using mind mapping improve the social study achievement. Based on the test results obtained by students at the end of each cycle showed an increase in the results of the learning social study. The conclusion comes from the data of pre action is 53.84%, cycle I is 69.23% and cycle II is 93.30%. These methods also make students become more active and attention when teaching and learning.
