PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH IPA KELAS IV SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match pada pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD Negeri Suryodinigratan 1. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Suryodinigratan 1 yang berjumlah 20 anak. Model penelitian ini mengunakan model penelitian Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian menggunakan pedoman angket, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskripsi kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model kooperatif tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh perolehan hasil angket pratindakan rata-rata persentase 56% kategori kurang, setelah melakukan tindakan pada siklus I rata-rata persentase menjadi 67% dalam kategori cukup, dan siklus II meningkat rata-rata persentase menjadi 87 dalam kategori sangat baik.

Abstract
This study aims to increase students’ learning motivation through the cooperative learning model of the make a match type in the Science subject in Grade IV of SD Negeri Suryodinigratan 1. This was a classroom action research (CAR) study. The research subjects were Grade IV students of SD Negeri Suryodingratan 1 with a total of 20 students. The research model was Kemmis and McTaggart’s model. The data collecting techniques were the questionnaire, observation, and documentation techniques. The research instruments were a questionnaire, an observation sheet, and a documentation guide. The data analysis technique was the quantitative descriptive technique. The results of the study indicate that the cooperative model of the make a match type was capable of increase students’ learning motivation. This was indicated by the result of the questionnaire in the pre-cycle with an average percentage of 56%, which was in the poor category. After the action in Cycle I, the average percentage was 67%, which was in the moderate category, and in Cycle II, the average percentage improved to 87%, which was in the very good category.
