PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MANDIRI MELALUI KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER PRAMUKA DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter mandiri melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SDIT Al-Muhajirin beserta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wali kelas III, IV and V, pembina pramuka dan siswa kelas III, IV, dan V sebagai anggota pramuka. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik dan crosscheck. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Nilai karakter kemandirian yang ditanamkan adalah sikap disiplin, tidak berganantung pada orang lain, keberanian, kepercayaan diri, solutif dan mampu mengambil keputusan, dan bertanggung jawab (2) Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dalam mewujudkan pendidikan karakter mandiri pada siswa SDIT Al- Muhajirin dilakukan melalui (a) kegiatan latihan rutin pramuka, (b) kegiatan berkemah, (c) Lomba Tingkat, dan (d) jambore. Strategi yang digunakan adalah strategi pemanduan (cheerleading), strategi pujian dan hadiah (praise- and-reward), strategi definisikan dan latihkan (define-and-drill) dan strategi penegakan disiplin (forced formality). Dalam hal ini sudah sampai pada tahap moral doing tetapi belum tercapai secara maksimal karena tidak semua siswa mempraktikkan nilai karakter mandiri itu di dalam perilakunya sehari-hari. (3) Faktor yang mendukung yaitu adanya keingian dan kesadaran dari diri siswa, serta adanya support dari wali kelas, guru dan orang tua . (4) Faktor penghambatnya yaitu diri siswa sendiri yang terbiasa dengan kebiasaan buruk serta pengaruh buruk dari kondisi perlakuan orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar seperti teman sebaya dan lain-lain.

Abstract
This research aims to describe the independent character education through scout extracurricular activities at Islamic Integrated Elementary School Al-Muhajirin along the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects were head master, classroom teacher of grade III, IV, and V scoutmaster and students of grade III, IV, and V as members of the scout. Collecting data used interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed with data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Mechanical examination of the validity of data using a triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that: (1) Independence character values that was embedded were discipline character, not depend to the others, courage, confidence, solution-based and capable of taking decisions, and responsible (2) Extracurricular activities Scouts in realizing the independent character education to students of SDIT Al-Muhajirin done through (a) activity exercise routine scout, (b) activities of camping, (c) The level of competition, and (d) jamboree. The strategy used is the strategy of scouting (cheerleading), praise and reward strategy, define strategies and exercises (define-and-drill) and discipline enforcement strategy (forced formality). In this case has reached the stage of moral doing but have not yet achieved its full potential since not all students practice the self-sustaining character values in everyday behavior. (3) Factors that support namely their desireand awareness of self-esteem, as well as their support of classroom teacher, teachers and parents. (4) the inhibiting factor is the students themselves who are accustomed to bad habits and bad influence on the conditions of treatment of parents and the surrounding environment such as peers and others.
