PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL MENGGUNAKAN FLIPCHART

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial menggunakan flipchart. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kraton Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil belajar saat pratindakan, nilai rata-rata adalah 50,70 untuk ketuntasan ada 2 siswa atau 12% dan belum tuntas ada 15 siswa atau 88%. Pada Siklus I diperoleh peningkatan hasil nilai rata-rata kelas 71,76. Ketuntasan ada 7 siswa atau 41% dan belum tuntas ada 10 siswa atau 59%, artinya ada kenaikan nilai rata-rata pratindakan ke Siklus I. Sedangkan Siklus II hasilnya mengalami kenaikan lagi yaitu nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 84,11 dan ketuntasan ada 14 siswa atau 82% dan belum tuntas ada 3 siswa atau 18%. Hasil belajar pada Siklus II telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan karena ≤ 75% siswa sudah mencapai KKM.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the learning process of social studies by using flipchart. This research used the Classroom Action Research and it was based on fifth grade students of SD Negeri Kraton Yogyakarta which consist of 17 students. The data collections techniques used interview, observation, test and documentation. Data were analyse using qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The preaction average result is 50,70 with 2 or 12 % of the students who has completed the test whereas there are 15 or 88% whom has not. On the first cycle, there are improvements on the average class test with result of 71,76. 7. 41% of the students has completed it whereas the other 10 or 59% have not. It is lead to increasing of the first preaction cycle result. Whereas in the second cycle, there are increasing number of results with 84,11 with completion of 14 or 82% students and 3 or 18% students who have not complete the test. Thus the result of the second cycle has met the success indicator because ≤ 75% of the students has reached the Minimum Criteria of Completion.
