PENANAMAN NILAI- NILAI KARAKTER BAGI SISWA KELAS V DI SD N BADRAN YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan mempunyai tujuan yaitu mengetahui proses yang dilakukan sekolah untuk menanamkan nilai karakter kepada siswa kelas V dan kendala yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan informan kepala sekolah, 4 guru (1 wali kelas, 1 guru mata pelajaran, dan 2 guru ekstrakurikuler) dan 6 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penanaman nilai dilakukan melalui integrasi mapel dengan menyisipkan nilai melalui pembelajaran, silabus, dan RPP. Kedua, melalui pengembangan diri (integrasi kegiatan sehari- hari dan kegiatan yang diprogramkan/ kegiatan rutin). Ketiga, melalui budaya di sekolah (di sekolah, kelas, dan luar kelas). Dalam penanaman nilai masih terdapat kendala yang dihadapi baik dari guru maupun siswa.

Abstract
This research aims at finding out the process of character inculcation values for 5th grade studentsin SD Badran Yogyakarta and the difficulties faced by school. This research was a qualitative descriptive research with headmaster, 4 teachers (1 home teacher, 1 subject teacher, and 2 extracurricular teachers) and 6 students of 5TH grade as interviewees. The data collecting techniques were observation, interview,and documentation. The data analysis techniques were reduction, presentation, and concluding. The validity technique used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The result shows that character values inculcation is done through subject integration by inserting the values in learning process, syllabi, and learning plan. Second, it is also conducted through self development (integration of daily activities and programmed/routine activities). Third, it is also done through the culture in school (in school, classroom, outside of classroom). In the values inculcation process, there are still some difficulties faced by teachers and students.
