Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) pada siswa kelas VI SD Kanisius Duwet Kecamatan Mlati Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas VI sejumlah 36 orang. Objek penelitian adalah peningkatan hasil belajar  IPA   melalui  model  pembelajaran  Group  Investigation (GI).  Teknik  pengumpulan  data dilakukan dengan pengamatan aktivitas dan tes prestasi belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA meningkat setelah diberikan tindakan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI).

Abstract

This study aims at to improve is student’s learning achievement in science subject using Group Investigation (GI) to sixth grade students in SD Kanisius Duwet, sub-district Mlati, Sleman regency. The method of his study was a class action research which done in three cycles. The subjects of this study were 36 of sixth grade students. The object of this study was the improvement of student’s science learning outcomes using Group Investigation (GI)  model. The data collection  technique was done by observing student’s activity in the classroom also by testing student’s academic achievement. The writer analyzed the data by showing a descriptive analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. The result of this study show that improvement of student’s learning the achievement after has improved the Group Investigation (GI) learning model.
