MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI MELALUI MODEL CIRCUIT LEARNING DI KELAS V SD KANISIUS JOMEGATAN BANTUL
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia melalui model circuit learning dan meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menulis karangan narasi melalui model circuit learning pada siswa kelas V SD Kanisius Jomegatan, Kasihan, Bantul.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Peneliti menggunakan model penelitian tindakan yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Kanisius Jomegatan, Kasihan, Bantul yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Penelitian tindakan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif.
Proses pembelajaran pada siklus I guru menerapkan model circuit learning. Pada siklus I keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa mengalami peningkatan dari hasil pra siklus nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 65,04 meningkat menjadi 68,10.. Siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 79,53. Pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas belajar hanya 57% meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model circuit learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi.

Abstract
The research aims to improve the learning process of writing narrative in bahasa Indonesia through circuit learning model and to improve the result of students’ skill in writing narrative for the fifth graders in SD Kanisius Jomegatan, Kasihan, Bantul. This is a Classroom Action Research. The researcher employ action research which was developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of 5 steps namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of the research are the fifth graders of SD Kanisius Jomegatan, Kasihan, Bantul which consist of 21 students. The action research was done in two cycles. The researcher used test and observation as a means of gathering the data. The instruments used in the data gathering were test result and observation sheets. The data were gathered from test and observation. The researcher analyzed the data using qualitative and quatitative description.
In the learning process of the first cycle, the teacher implement circuit learning model. In the first cycle, students’ skill in writing narrative were improving. In the pre-cycle, the average score of the ctlstudents were 65,04 and it improved into 68,10. From this cycle, students’ average score improving to 79,53. In the first cycle, there are only 57% students who passed the test and it became 100% in the second cycle. The research shows that circuit learning model could improve students’ skill in writing narrative.
