MENINGKATKAN TANGGUNG JAWAB SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW II PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS IV SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan tanggung jawab siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw II pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sapen Manisrenggo, Klaten. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model siklus yang dilakukan secara berulang dan berkelanjutan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sapen yang berjumlah 18 siswa dan objeknya adalah tanggung jawab siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan tanggung jawab pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sapen. Dari kondisi awal yang skor rata-ratanya 26 meningkat sebesar 4,63 yang pada siklus I menjadi 30,63. Selain meningkatnya skor rata-rata siswa, persentase skor rata-rata juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10,31%, dari kondisi awal 57,77% menjadi 68,08%. Dari hasil observasi tanggung jawab siswa pada siklus II dapat diketahui bahwa skor rata-ratanya sebesar 34,92 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4,29 yang sebelumnya pada siklus I sebesar 30,63. Hal ini juga menunjukkan bahwa persentase skor rata-rata mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,51% dari hasil siklus I 68,08% ke siklus II yaitu 77,59%.

Abstract

This study aims at improving students’ responsibility in the mathematics subject through the cooperative learning model of the jigsaw II type for Grade IV of SD Negeri Sapen, Manisrenggo, Klaten. This was a classroom action research (CAR) study using a cyclical model repeatedly and continuously carried out. The research subjects were Grade IV students of SD Negeri Sapen with a total of 18 students and the object was their responsibility. The data were collected through observations. The data analysis technique was the quantitative data analysis technique. The result of the study shows that there is an improvement of the responsibility of Grade IV students of SD Negeri Sapen. In the initial condition, the mean score is 26; in Cycle I it improving by 4.63 to 30.63. In addition to the improvement of the students’ mean score, the percentage of the mean score also improving by 10.31%, from 57.77% in the initial condition to 68.08%. From the results of the observations on students’ responsibility in Cycle II, it is reveal that the students’ mean score is 34.92, improving by 4.29 from the previous mean score of 30.63 in Cycle I. This also indicate that the percentage of the mean score improving by 9.51%, from 68.08% in Cycle I to 77.59% in Cycle II.
