IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM AMONG DALAM PENANAMAN KARAKTER DI KELAS IV SD TAMAN MUDA IBU PAWIYATAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi metode pendidikan dalam sistem among untuk menanamkan karakter dan karakter yang dihasilkan di kelas IV SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjeknya yaitu seorang kepala bagian, enam pamong dan tujuh siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik dan menggunakan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pendidikan direncanakan melalui tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum dan perencanaan penanaman karakter. Pelaksanaannya melalui pengajaran serta perintah, paksaan dan hukuman. Selain itu, melalui perilaku Trilogi Kepemimpinan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pengawasan oleh kepala bagian. Faktor pendukungnya yaitu keluarga dan sekolah. Sedangkan, faktor penghambatnya yaitu pamong dan siswa. Strateginya yaitu introspeksi diri dengan memperbanyak komunikasi serta sharing antarpamong dan orang tua siswa. Karakter yang dihasilkan yaitu jujur, disiplin, tanggung jawab, kesopanan, sehat jasmani dan rohani, dan warga masyarakat yang baik.

Abstract
This research aims at describing the implementation methods toward the “among” system to inculcating character and the character inculcation in the fourth grade students Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan. This research was descriptive qualitative. Subjects of research were supervisor from the department, six “pamong” and seven students in the fourth grade. The data collection techniques used observation, interview, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman interactive model. Data validity used source triangulation, technique triangulation and reference materials. The result shows that educational methods are planned through educational objectives, curriculum and planning of the character inculcation in learning. The educational methods are implemented through teaching and commandments, coercion and punishment. It is also implemented through the “Trilogi Kepemimpinan”. The system evaluation is implemented by supervisor from the department. Then, supporting factors are the family and school. Inhibiting factor are “pamong” and students. The strategy is self- introspection with more communication and sharing “pamong” and parents. The resultant character are honest, discipline, responsibility, politeness, healthy physically and mentally, and becoming good citizens.
