PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR IPS MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN COURSE REVIEW HORAY SISWA KELAS IV SD MENDIRO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) siswa kelas IV SD N Mendiro melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas atau PTK. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah 22 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan skala. Teknik validitas menggunakan validitas isi dan teknik reliabilitas menggunakan cara test-retest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) siswa kelas IV, melalui penggunaan reward dan adanya pembagian tugas dalam kelompok yang dilakukan pada siklus II.

Abstract

This research aims at improving the active participation of learning social studies of fourth grade students in SD N Mendiro through Course Review Horay type. This research was classroom action research (PTK). Subjects in this research were students of fourth grade totalling 22 students. This research design used Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. Data collection techniques were observation and scale. Mechanical validity used content validity and reliability technique used test-retest method. Data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive. The results shows that the cooperative learning Course Review Horay type can enhance the active participation in learning social studies, through the use of reward and the division of tasks within the group performed in the second cycle.
