MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT DI KELAS IV SDN PARAKSARI
Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi simetri dan pencerminan bangun datar melalui penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournaments (TGT) pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Paraksari Pakem, Sleman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) pola kolaboratif menggunakan model siklus Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Paraksari Pakem, Sleman. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes dan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan penelitian tindakan ini adalah persentase rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mencapai ≥ 75% dan persentase aktivitas belajar siswa mencapai ≥ 80%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi simetri dan pencerminan bangun datar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Paraksari Pakem, Sleman. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I, persentasenya mencapai 66.38% kemudian pada siklus II persentase aktivitas siswa meningkat menjadi 88.05%. Persentase hasil belajar siswa pada waktu pretest yaitu 5.56%, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 50%, dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 88.89%. Kata Kunci: hasil belajar matematika, model Kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournamen (TGT) Abstract This research aimed to increase mathematics learning achievement of symmetry and reflection of plane with cooperative model Team Games Tournament (TGT) type in grade IV of SDN Paraksari Pakem, Sleman. This is an Classroom Action Research with collaborative pattern using cyclical model proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart. The total subject of this research is 18 students, consist of 9 boys and 9 girls. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles. The data was collected by test and observation. The instrument used in this research were test and observation sheet. The data was analyzed by qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. Quantitative descriptive data analysis used to find out the increasing of students mathematics learning achievement of symmetry and reflection plane with cooperative model TGT type. Qualitative descriptive data analysis used to find out the increasing of students learning activity by using cooperative model TGT type. The criteria of success of this research were the students average percentage of learning achievement achieved ≥75% and the students learning activity percentage achieved ≥80%. The result of this research showed that cooperative model TGT type increased the mathematics learning achievement of symmetry and reflection of plane in grade IV of SDN Paraksari Pakem, Sleman. The result of the students activities observation in cycle I achieved 66,38% and in cycle II increased to 88.05%. The result of students pretest achieved 5,56%, in cycle I increased to 50%, and in cycle II increased to 88,89%.
