PELAKSANAAN PROSES PEMBELAJARAN BERPENDEKATAN ILMIAH DI KELAS IVC SDN GLAGAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran berpendekatan ilmiah di kelas IVC SDN Glagah Yogyakarta. Objek yang diteliti adalah proses pembelajaran di kelas. Guru dan siswa kelas IVC SDN Glagah sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data interaktif Miles and Huberman yang meliputi tahapan reduksi, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru merencanakan pembelajaran dengan membuat RPP, mempersiapkan materi, media, dan sumber belajar. Siswa melaksanakan langkah-langkah kegiatan dalam pendekatan ilmiah berupa mengamati, menanya, mencoba, mengolah informasi, dan mengkomunikasikan dengan difasilitasi guru. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut tidak selalu terlaksana secara urut. Belum semua siswa melakukan kegiatan sesuai harapan. Penguasaan guru terhadap keterampilan dasar mengajar mempengaruhi kelancaran pembelajaran. Tercapainya indikator melalui kegiatan pembelajaran dinilai menggunakan penilaian otentik. Guru masih mengalami kesulitan melakukan penilaian otentik dan belum menggunakan semua teknik penilaian otentik. Kata kunci: pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pendekatan ilmiah, sekolah dasar. Abstract This research aimed to describe the implementation of learning process used scientific approach in SDN Glagah Yogyakarta (Glagah Elementary School) on fourth grade (class IVC). This was a descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research was learning process in class and the subjects were teacher and students of IVC grade SDN Glagah. Data collection used observation technique, interview, and documents analysis. Data analysis technique used Miles & Huberman’s interactive method which is consisted of three steps: reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Collected data were validated by triangulation and member check. The result of this research showed that teacher created lesson plan before teaching, prepared subject matters, media, and learning sources. In process, students performed scientific approach activities such as observing, questioning, experimenting, processing the information, and communicating with teacher’s guidances. Those activities were not always sequence in steps. All students haven’t been doing those activities well. Teacher’s teaching skills had positive effects on learning process with scientific approach. The goals of learning process in this research subject were evaluated by authentic assessment. Teacher still has found difficulties when doing authentic assessment and hasn’t used all authenthic assessment techniques yet. Keywords: learning process, scientific approach, elementary school.
