KONSEP PENDIDIKAN KI HADJAR DEWANTARA: STUDI KASUS PELAKSANAAN SISTEM AMONG DI SDN TIMBULHARJO BANTUL

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan sistem among di SDN Timbulharjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, 6 guru kelas dan 4 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data collection, data display, data reduction dan drawing/verification. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber, trianggulasi teknik, dan cross check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem among berjiwa kekeluargaan, berlandaskan kodrat alam dan kemerdekaan. Sistem among mencakup asah, asih, dan asuh. Tujuan sistem among untuk mendidik siswa sesuai kodrat alam dan kemerdekaan. Pengawasan dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan sistem among yaitu Trilogi Tamansiswa, keterbukaan komunikasi, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan kesadaran menyampaikan nilai moral. Faktor penghambat pelaksanaan sistem among yaitu pengaruh perkembangan zaman, beban kerja tambahan, dan pelanggaran peraturan. Strategi pemanfaatan faktor pendukung dan pengurangan faktor penghambat dengan pembinaan, pelayanan bimbingan dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe among system's implementation in SDN Timbulharjo. The kind of this research was qualitative research with case study method. The subjects of this research were headmaster, 6  class teachers, and 4  students. Technic of data collecting used observation, interview and documentation. The technic of data analysis used data collection, data display, data reduction and drawing/verification. The technics of data legitimation's testing used source triangulation, technic triangulation, and cross check. The result of research showed that among system's implementation has family-like bonds, based on nature fate and independence. Among system covered asah, asih, and asuh. The purpose of among system was to educate students conforming with the nature fate and independence. The monitoring was held by headmaster. Supporting factors for among system's implementation were Tamansiswa Trilogy, openness in communication, extracurricular activities, and awareness in internalizing moral values. Inhibiting factors of among system's implementation were the affects of modernizations, addition working jobdesks, and violation of rules. Strategies for optimalizing the supporting factors and decreasing the inhibiting factors were nurturing programmes, guiding services, and extracurricular activities.
