PERAN KOMITE SEKOLAH DALAM PENINGKATAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SD NEGERI 2 GEMEKSEKTI KEBUMEN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti, Kebumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, komite sekolah, perwakilan guru, dan perwakilan orang tua siswa di SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti masuk kategori cukup dan komite sekolah sudah menjalankan beberapa perannya sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, pendukung, pengontrol, dan mediator dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti. Akan tetapi, masih ada beberapa indikator kinerja yang belum dilaksanakan secara optimal yaitu terkait penyusunan visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah, pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, pengadaan buku siswa, pemantauan alokasi anggaran, partisipasi stakeholder, dan menampung aspirasi masyarakat.

Abstract
This research aims to describe participations of school committee to improve quality of education at SD N 2 Gemeksekti, Kebumen. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. Subjects in this research were chairman of the school, school committee, the representative of teachers, and the representative of student’s parent at SD N 2 Gemeksekti. Interviews, observation, and documentation studied used to collected the data’s. Data were analysed by collected data, reduction, display, and conclucion data. Data validity test used source triangulations and technique triangulation. The result shows that quality of education in SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti include in rather category and school committee has been carry out their partipation as advisory agency, supporting agency, controlling agency, amd as mediatory agency to improve education quality at SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti. However, there are some indicators that have not been implemented, its preparation of the composing vision, mission, and aim of the school, implementatation of learning process, supplying student’s books, monitoring of the budged allocation, stakeholder participations, and the aspirations of the people.
