IMPLEMENTASI KOMPETENSI SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA SEKOLAH DI SD N 5 WATES

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) implementasi kompetensi supervisi akademik; (2)
kendala yang dihadapi, solusi yang dilakukan, dan dampak pelaksanaan supervisi di SD Negeri 5 Wates. Penelitian
ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.
Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi
sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Supervisi akademik yang dilakukan kepala sekolah terdiri dari perencanaan,
pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut. Supervisi dilaksanakan satu kali setiap awal semester. Supervisi dilakukan dengan
menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif dan beberapa teknik supervisi, yaitu kunjungan kelas, pentemuan individu,
rapat, diklat, penataran, dan kerja kelompok. Tindak lanjut yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan review hasil
supervisi dan melakukan pembinaan keterampilan dan sikap guru; kendala yang dihadapi dalam melaksanakan
kegiatan supervisi yaitu sering tertundanya pelaksanaan supervisi akademik. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah dengan
melakukan reschedule jadwal supervisi. Supervisi akademik memberikan dampak yang positif bagi peningkatan
kinerja guru dan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract
This research aims to describe (1) The implementation of academic supervision competence; (2) the obstacles
faced, solution done, and the impact of supervision implementation at SD N 5 Wates. This was a descriptive
research. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed
through data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The data validation used source and technique triangulation.
The academic supervision that be done by headmaster includes of planning, implementation, and follow up. The
supervision is done once time in the beginning semester. The supervision are done with using collaborative
approach and some supervision technique, that are class visitation, individual meeting, meeting, training and
education program, upgrading, and group working. The follow up that be done by doing review of supervision
result and doing skill and teacher attitude training. The obstacle that be faced in doing supervision activity is often
delayed when doing academic supervision. The solution is doing supervision reschedule. The academic supervision
gives positive impact for improving teacher work and learning quality.
