HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEDISIPLINAN DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL ORANG TUA DENGAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI SISWA

Abstrak
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1)hubungan kedisiplinan dengan motivasi berprestasi;
2)hubungan dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi; 3)hubungan antara kedisiplinan dan dukungan
sosial orang tua dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas IV SD/MI di gugus IV Kecamatan Pleret
Kabupaten Bantul Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Pengumpulan
data menggunakan metode angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi Product Moment dan
korelasi ganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1)terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara
kedisiplinan dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa (rhitung0,633>rtabel0,207); 2)terdapat hubungan positif dan
signifikan antara dukungan sosial orang tua dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa; 3)terdapat hubungan
positif dan signifikan antara kedisiplinan dan dukungan sosial orang tua secara bersama-sama dengan
motivasi berprestasi siswa. Dibuktikan dengan harga R=0,765 dan (Fhitung60,613>Ftabel4,88). Hal itu
menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kedisiplinan dan dukungan sosial orang tua, semakin tinggi pula
motivasi berprestasi siswa.

Abstract
The study aimed to determine: 1) the relationship between discipline and achievement motivation; 2) The
relationship between parental social support and achievement motivation; 3) the relationship between discipline,
parental social support and student achievement motivation fourth grade / MI in the group IV District of Bantul
Regency Pleret Academic Year 2015/2016. The type of the Research was an ex-post facto research. Collecting data
using questionnaires. Data was analyzed using product moment correlation and multiple correlation.
The results showed that: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between discipline and
achievement motivation of students (rcount0,633> rtable0,207); 2) there is a positive and significant relationship
between social support parents with student achievement motivation; 3) there is a positive and significant
relationship between discipline and social support of parents together with student achievement motivation.
Evidenced by the price of R = 0.765 and (Fcount60,613> Ftable4,88). It shows that the higher discipline and social
support of parents, the higher the student achievement motivation.
