PENINGKATAN MINAT BELAJAR IPA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan cara meningkatkan minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif menggunakan model dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SD N 1 Sedayu yang terdiri dari 30 siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dekskripti kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan minat belajar IPA. Hal ini dapat terlihat dengan perubahan sikap siswa ketika pembelajaran. Siswa lebih memberikan perhatian ketika pelajaran IPA, aktif mengikuti pembelajaran dan menunjukan rasa senang ketika pelajaran IPA. Abstract

This research aims at describing the way of increasing the student learning interest at science subject through of STAD type cooperative learning model. This research was collaborative class room action research model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This research was done at V grade in SD N 1 Sedayu with amount were 30 students. Data analysis in this research used qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The research result show that using the STAD type of cooperative learning model can increase the science learning interest. It can be see trough the change of student attitude when the learning is on going process. The student give more attention and showed happiness when the science learning is on going process.
