MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR IPA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING DI KELAS V SD N GEDONGKIWO

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas V SD N Gedongkiwo dengan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dalam pembelajaran IPA. Minat belajar siswa dilihat dari antusiasme, rasa ingin tahu, perhatian, partisipasi aktif, menghargai pendapat, dan ketekunan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD N Gedongkiwo, Kecamatan Mantrijeron, Kota Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V berjumlah 27 siswa. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu pengamatan dan skala minat. Teknik analisis data berupa teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Pada siklus I, hasil pengamatan menunjukkan 85,20% siswa mencapai minat belajar pada kategori baik. Hasil angket yaitu 100% siswa mencapai minat belajar pada kategori baik. Pada siklus II, penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching disertai perbaikan tindakan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan 96,30% siswa mencapai minat belajar pada kategori baik. Hasil angket yaitu 100% siswa mencapai minat belajar pada kategori baik.

Abstract
This research was aimed to improve the students learning interest using Quantum Teaching learning model on fifth grade students. Students learning interest can be seen from their enthusiasm, curiosity, attention, active participation, respect the opinions, and perseverance. This research was conducted in SD N Gedongkiwo, District Matrijeron, Yogyakarta. The subjects of this research were the 27 fifth grade students. The research type is classroom action research by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data collection techniques were observation and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques was used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. First cycle results, showed 85.20% of students achieved learning interest in good category. From the questionnaire, 100% of students achieved the learning interest in good category. Second cycle results with some corrective action, showed 96.30% of students achieved the learning interest in good category. From the questionnaire, 100% of students achieved the learning interest in good category.
