PENGOLAHAN KOLEKSI PERPUSTAKAAN DI SD NEGERI PERCOBAAN 3 KECAMATAN PAKEM, YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengolahan koleksi perpustakaan secara mendalam di SD Negeri Percobaan 3 Pakem Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, pustakawan, guru kelas, dan siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dimulai dari pengumpulan data (data collection), reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display). Setelah itu, dilanjutkan dengan verivikasi data untuk mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengolahan koleksi perpustakaan berjalan dengan baik. Kekurangan yang harus dibenahi terletak pada penataan buku di perpustakaan. Tidak ada petunjuk dan pelabelan rak buku di perpustakaan. Pustakawan mengolah bahan pustaka dengan baik sehingga mempermudah siswa dalam mencari bahan pustaka. Oleh karena itu tujuan perpustakaan sebagai sumber informasi tercapai.

Abstract
This research aims to describe in depth the processing of library collection in SD Percobaan 3 Pakem Yogyakarta. This research used a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were headmaster, librarian, teachers, and students. The Methods of data collection used observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique was started from data collection, data reduction, data display. After that, it was proceed with the verification of the data to take the conclusions. The result of this research showed that the processing of library collection went so well. The deficiencies that must be repaired was the arrangement of books in the library. There were no instruction and labeling on bookshelfes in the library. The librarian was good to process the library materials, so that the students can find the library materials easily. Therefore the aimed of the library as a source of information achieved. \
