HUBUNGAN PEMAHAMAN NILAI-NILAI NASIONALISME DENGAN SIKAP CINTA TANAH AIR SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman nilai-nilai nasionalisme dengan sikap cinta tanah air siswa kelas V SD se-gugus IV Kecamatan Mlati, Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V sebanyak 130 siswa yang diambil dari 7 sekolah dasar yang ada di gugus IV Kecamatan Mlati Kabupaten Sleman. Teknik  pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket. Uji validitas menggunakan uji validitas isi, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach. Uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dengan rumus Kolmogorov Smirnov dan uji linieritas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi Pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pemahaman nilai-nilai nasionalisme dengan sikap cinta tanah air siswa kelas V SD dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, dan nilai r sebesar 0,497 termasuk  memiliki hubungan sedang (>0,4 – 0,599). Sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 24,7% dan sisanya sebesar 75,3%  ditentukan oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine relationship between student’s insight of nationalism values with attitude of loving country of all 5th grade elementary students at Sleman Regency, gugus IV Subdistrict Mlati. This research used quantitative approach with correlation kind of research. This sample research were 155 students of 5th grade of  7 elementary schools at Sleman Regency, gugus IV District Mlati.  The sampling technique using simple random sampling. The instrument of the research were test and the attitude scale. The validity test used content validity, and the reliability test used the formula of Alpha Cronbach. Test requirements analysis used Kolmogorov Smirnov formula. Hypothesis test used the correlation of Pearson product moment. The result of the research showed  that there was a positive and significant relationship between student’s insight of nationalism values with attitude of loving country of all 5th grade elementary students, with significance 0.000 <0.05, and r value of 0,497 including have a midle relation (>0,4 – 0,599). The effective contribution of 24,7% and the remaining 75,3% is determined by other factors.
