Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media Papan Flanel Perkalian (PALAKA) dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas media papan flanel perkalian guna meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas II SD Negeri Delegan 2. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang mengadaptasi prosedur pengembangan dari Borg dan Gall dengan 8 langkah dari 10 langkah yaitu, penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan draf produk, uji coba lapangan awal, revisi produk, uji coba lapangan, uji operasional, dan penyempurnaan produk akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi materi terakhir memperoleh skor rata-rata 5. Hasil validasi media terakhir memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,85. Hasil uji coba lapangan awal memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,84, hasil angket guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 5. Uji coba lapangan utama mendapat rata-rata skor 4,9, hasil angket guru mendapat rata-rata skor 5. Uji operasional mendapat rata-rata skor 4,86, angket guru memperoleh rata-rata skor 5. Media papan flanel perkalian efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa, ditunjukan dengan hasil nilai rata-rata posttest lebih besar dibandingkan dengan hasil rata-rata nilai pretest. Rata-rata nilai pretest yaitu, 70,83 sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest yaitu, 88,54.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the feasibility of multiplication flannel board media (PALAKA) and to determine the effectiveness  of multiplication flannel board media to improve the numeracy ability of second grade of SD Negeri Delegan 2. This is a Research and Development (R&D) study. This study adapts Borg and Gall’s development procedures qhich consist of eight steps his ten steps: data collection, planning, product draft development, initial field trials, product revisions, field trials, operational field, and final product finishing. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, literature study, questionnaires, documentation, and test. Data analysis techniques using quantitiative descriptive statistics. The final result of material validation obtained average score of 5. The final result of media validation obtained average score of 4,85. The initial field trials result obtained average score of 4,84, teacher questionnaire results obtained. The field trials result obtained average score of 4,9, teacher questionnaire average score of 5. The operational trials obtained average score of 4,86, teacher questionnaire results obtained an average score of 5.Tthe multiplication flannel board media was effectively used to improve students numeracy skills, indicated by the results of the average posttest score being greater than the average score of the pretest scores. The average pretest score is 70,83 while the average posttest score is 88,54.
