PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI KALIKUTUK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kalikutuk. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kalikutuk, kelas IVA sebagai kelas kontrol (27 siswa) dan kelas IVB sebagai kelas eksperimen (24 siswa). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan statistik deskriptif, yaitu uji mean hasil posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kalikutuk. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan rata-rata nilai kelompok eksperimen sebelum perlakuan sebesar 42,67 dan setelah perlakuan sebesar 71,67. Sedangkan hasil nilai rata-rata sebelum perlakuan kelompok kontrol sebesar 44,44 dan setelah perlakuan sebesar 48. Perubahan rerata pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain kelompok eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelompok kontrol yaitu sebesar 0,55>0,04.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the TGT type of cooperative learning model on social studies learning outcomes in fourth grade students of Kalikutuk State Elementary School. This type of research is a quasi experiment with the form of nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were students in grade IV SD Negeri Kalikutuk, class IVA as a control class (27 students) and class IVB as an experimental class (24 students). Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with descriptive statistics, the mean test results of the experimental and control group posttest and the N-Gain test. The results showed that there was an influence of the TGT type of cooperative learning model on social studies learning outcomes in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Kalikutuk. This is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the average value of the experimental group before the treatment of 42.67 and after the treatment of 71.67. While the results of the average value before the control group treatment was 44.44 and after the treatment amounted to 48. The mean change in the experimental group was higher than the control group. Based on the N-Gain test results the experimental group is greater than the control group that is equal to 0.55> 0.04.
