HUBUNGAN ANTARA POLA ASUH DEMOKRATIS DENGAN TOLERANSI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan perilaku toleransi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Gugus Banteng Kecamatan Tempuran Kabupaten Magelang Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasi ex-post facto yang dapat dilihat dari data penelitian yang berupa angka–angka dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri se-Gugus Banteng Kecamatan Tempuran Kabupaten Magelang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri se-Gugus Banteng Kecamatan Tempuran Kabupaten Magelang. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 102 siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan nilai reliabilitas toleransi sebesar 0,834 dan nilai reliabilitas pola asuh demokratis sebesar 0,874. Hasil analisis variabel toleransi menunjukkan kategori tinggi sebesar 77,45% dan variabel pola asuh demokratis menunjukkan kategori tinggi sebesar 65,69%. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan  sebsar 0,669, dengan nilai signifikasi 0.00 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Nilai korelasi berada di rentang kuat. Sedangkan untuk koefisien determinan R² = 0,669² = 0,448 berarti pola asuh demokratis berpengaruh (dapat menjelaskan variasi) terhadap perilaku toleransi sebesar 44,8% sementara sisanya 55,2% dari toleransi siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang lainnya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the correlation between democratic parenting and tolerance behavior of 4^th grade students of state elementary school in the group of Banteng, sub-district Tempuran, Magelang Regency in the academic year of 2019/2020. This study is a correlational quantitative ex-post facto research that can be seen in numerical data and statistically analyzed. This study was held in State Elementary School in the group of Banteng, sub-district Tempuran, district Magelang Regency. The population of this research is all the students of 4^th grade in State Elementary School in the group of Banteng, sub-district Tempuran, Magelang Regency which involved 102 students. This study applies Product Moment Correlation to analyze the data The results of the study produced a tolerance value of 0.834 and a democratic parenting reliability value of 0.874.The result of this study shows that the tolerance behavior variable is in high category in the percentage of 77.45% and the democratic parenting variable is in high category in the percentage of 65.69%. The result from the correlation test shown that  is 0,669, with a significance value 0.00 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The correlation value is in the strong range with within 0.60-0.799. Whereas the determinant coefficient R2 = 0.6692 = 0.448 means that democratic parenting influences (can explain variations) to tolerance behavior by 44.8% while the remaining 55.2% of student tolerance is influenced by other factors.
