PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN di SD NEGERI NGRUKEMAN KASIHAN BANTUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di SD Negeri Ngrukeman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan diberikan melalui program pengembangan diri yang meliputi kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian. Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan diberikan melalui pengintegrasian dengan mata pelajaran yang meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang memuat pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan diberikan melalui budaya sekolah meliputi program praktik pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan; pemberian kegiatan dan ruang ekspresi karakter peduli lingkungan; pemberian motivasi untuk mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan; penerapan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pemberian reward dan sanksi.

Abstract
This research aimed at describing the character education of environmental awareness in SD Negeri Ngrukeman. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this research were headmaster, class teacher and student. The data were collected by interview, observation and documentation study. The data validity test used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data analysis techniques used, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The result shows the character education of environmental awareness is conduct through self development program, including routine activity, spontaneous activity, exemplification, and conditioning. Integration of environmental awareness of character education in the subject through inserting the environmental awareness character in the lesson plan, the learning process, and the evaluation. The character education of environmental awareness is given through school culture including the practice program of character education of environmental awareness, giving the space and activity for expressing the character education of environmental awareness, giving the motivation to evolve character education of environmental awareness and implementing the character education of environmental awareness by giving reward and punishment.
