Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program minat baca di SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, petugas perpustakaan, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas dengan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) tujuan program minat baca adalah menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan budaya literasi sekolah; (2) program minat baca meliputi jam baca 10 menit, sudut baca, duta baca, mading dan kliping, pustakawan cilik, jam kunjung perpustakaan, lomba literasi, dan perpustakaan keliling; (3) peran kepala sekolah sebagai pengawas program, guru berperan memanfaatkan perpustakaan dalam pembelajaran, pustakawan berperan memberikan pelayanan perpustakaan yang baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of reading interest program at SD Golo Yogyakarta. The research design was descriptive qualitative. Subject of this research were a headmaster,teachers, librarian, and students . Data collection techniques used observation guidelines, interview, and documentation. Research instruments used observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data test validity used triangulation techniques and sources. The data analysis technique used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research are: (1) the purpose of reading interest programs is to develope reading habits and increase literacy skills; (2)The interest in reading programs are 10 minute reading hours, reading corner, ambassador reader, wall magazines and clippings, ypung librarian, library visit schedule, literacy contest, and mobile library; (3) the headmaster play a role in controlling programs, teachers plays the role of using the library as a learning tool, the librarian role is provide good service in library.
