PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PERMULAAN MELALUI METODE LATIHAN (DRILL)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan melalui metode latihan (drill) pada kelas I SD N Kalikutuk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan keterampilan menulis permulaan adalah minimal 75% dari jumlah siswa mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan sekolah yaitu ≥75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa adalah persentase ketuntasan keterampilan menulis permulaan mengalami peningkatan dari pra siklus 4,54%, siklus I 22,73%, dan siklus II 81,8%.

Abstract
This research aims at improving beginning writing skills through drill methods in 1st grade students of Kalikutuk Elementary School. This research type was classroom action research with 22 students of 1st grade as subjects. The research’s design was Kemmis and McTaggart’s model. The data collecting technique used observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The success criteria of this research was at least 75% from all students able to achieve Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) that have been set by the school that was ≥ 75. This research that the improvement of beginning writing skills from the mastery percentage of the pre-cycle 4,54%, first cycle 22,73%, and second cycle 81,8%.
