PENERAPAN HUKUMAN UNTUK PENANAMAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA SD NEGERI 1 KARANGSARI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan hukuman untuk penanaman karakter disiplin siswa SD Negeri 1 Karangsari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, pemajangan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data peneitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SD Negeri 1 Karangsari menerapkan strategi penerapan hukuman untuk penanaman karakter disiplin yang meliputi: (1) hukuman preventif yang dijalankan dengan membuat peraturan sekaligus sanksi hukuman, mensosialisasikan peraturan dan jenis hukuman, mengawasi siswa dalam setiap kegiatan, serta memberi perhatian khusus kepada siswa pelanggar aturan, (2) hukuman represif yang dijalankan dengan memberi peringatan verbal atau non verbal, mencatat nama siswa yang melanggar, mengajak berdialog jika pelanggaran selalu terulang, membuat kesepakatan apabila melanggar kembali akan ada hukuman serius, menerapkan tindakan hukuman yang bukan ceramah panjang, sesegera mungkin menerapkan hukuman agar efek dari hukuman tidak hilang, mengarahkan siswa yang kerap melanggar aturan ke BK, serta memanggil orang tua ketika kesalahan kembali terulang, (3) mengakhiri hukuman dengan cara memberitahukan kepada siswa kapan dan bagaimana hukuman dapat berakhir.

Abstract
This research aimed to describe the assembling of punishment to cultivate the disciplinary character of students in Karangsari 1 Elementary School. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers, and students. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the data analysis namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The validity data of this research uses data source triangulation and method triangulation. The result of this research indicates that Karangsari 1 Elementary School implements a strategy of assembling punishment to cultivate disciplinary characters which include: (1) preventive punishment carried out by making rules as well as inherent sanctions, socializing regulations and types of punishment, supervising students in every activity, and give special attention to students who break the rules, (2) repressive punishment carried out giving verbal or non-verbal warnings, take a note of students name who do violate, inviting for dialogue if violations are repeated, making agreements when do violating again there will be serious penalties, assembling punishments that are not long lectures, assemble punishment as soon as possible so that the effects of punishment does not disappear, give direction to the students who often violates the rules to BK, and call parents when they re do the mistakes again, (3) end the punishment by telling students when and how the punishment can end.
