Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler membatik di SD Negeri Gadingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, guru pengampu, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter di SD Negeri Gadingan sudah sesuai dengan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP). Pengelolaan ekstrakurikuler membatik mulai dari perencanaan hal yang direncanakan meliputi, tujuan, guru pengampu, jadwal, rencana program kegiatan, sarana dan prasarana, dana pendukung dan metode. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler membatik berupa teoritik, praktek, hasil karya siswa dan pemanfaatan hasil karya siswa. Evaluasi pembelajaran dan penilaian dilakukan guru pengampu secara sumatif dan formatif. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung di dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler membatik meliputi nilai karakter religius, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong royong dan integritas.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of character education values in batik extracurricular activities at Gadingan Elementary School. This research used descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this research included the principal, the teacher, and the students. The technique of collecting data used observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of analysis data were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research showed that the implementation of character education at elementary school was in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Batik extracurricular management starts from the planning including, purpose, the teacher, schedule, program plan, facilities and infrastructure, supporting funds and methods. The implementation of extracurricular activities in the form of theoretical batik, practice, student product creation and the utilization. Evaluation of learning and assessment was carried out by the teacher summatively and formatively. The values of character education contained in batik extracurricular activities include the values of religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation and integrity.
