MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR IPA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL QUANTUM TEACHING

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam materi gaya dan gerak melalui model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching pada siswa kelas IV SD N Nogotirto. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA materi gaya dan gerak. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA saat kondisi awal rata-ratanya 53,06 dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching skor mencapai angka 64,60 terjadinya peningkatan sebesar 11,54% dan setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada setiap indikator setiap langkah TANDUR (Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasi, Ulangi dan Rayakan) rata-rata skor motivasi belajar IPA siswa pada siklus II mencapai angka 71,06.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning motivation especially in Natural Sciences subjects in the style and motion material through the Quantum Teaching learning model for fourth grade students of SD N Nogotirto The type of research conducted is Classroom Action Research. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The results of the study show that the application of the Quantum Teaching learning model can increase the motivation to learn science in material style and motion. This is evidenced by the increase in students' learning motivation in science subjects when the initial conditions included in the medium category 53.06 and after learning using the Quantum Teaching learning model students reached 64 ,60 increments of 11.54% and after repairs on each indicator inserted at each step (Grow, Natural, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat and Celebrate) the average score of students' learning motivation in the second cycle reaching 71.06.
