UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR IPA DENGAN MENERAPKAN MEDIA DIORAMA KELAS 4

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk peningkatan minat belajar IPA dengan menerapkan media diorama pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mac Taggart dengan pelaksanaan kolaborasi guru kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus yang setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan media diorama dapat meningkatkan minat belajar IPA siswa. Hasil pengamatan pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa 66,66% siswa mencapai minat belajar IPA, sedangkan hasil angket menunjukkan 69,23%. Hasil pengamatan pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa 88,88% siswa mencapai minat belajar IPA, sedangkan hasil angket menunjukkan 84,62%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the interest of learning the nature science by applying diorama media to the fourth grade elementary school. The kind of research was classroom action research with refers to Kemmis and Mac Taggart model by implementation teacher collaboration. It was implemented two cycles that in each cycle consist of twice meeting. The technique of collecting data used observations and questionnaire. The technique of data analysis used descriptive qualitative and quantitative data. The result of research showed the learning by applying diorama media can improve student learning interest of the nature science. The result of the observation in the first cycle showed that 66,66% of student can reach the interest of learning, whereas the result of questionnaire indicates 69,23%.The result of the observation in the second cycle indicate 88,88% of students the interest of learning, while the result of questionnaire indicates 84,62%.
