Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru kelas lima di SD Negeri Baciro Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif tipe studi kasus. Subyek penelitian adalah guru kelas lima di SD Negeri Baciro Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yaitu: (1) guru menguasai materi dari kelima mata pelajaran, (2) guru sudah menguasai standar kompetensi dan kompetensi dasar (3) guru mengembangkan materi pembelajaran yang diampu secara kreatif. Namun, guru belum menggunakan atau membuat media yang interaktif bagi siswa, (4) guru mengembangkan keprofesionalan secara berkelanjutan dengan melakukan PTK, mengevaluasi diri melalui orang tua siswa, dan mendengarkan pendapat siswa. Namun, guru belum memiliki prestasi, dan (5) guru memanfaatkan TIK melalui penggunaan laptop, LCD, speaker, internet, dan telepon genggam untuk berkomunikasi dengan orang tua.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the fifth teacher’s classroom pedagogic and professional competences in Baciro Public Elementary School. This study used the case study type of the qualitative approach. The subject of this study was a fifth teacher’s classroom in Baciro Public Elementary School. The results of the study showed that the fifth teacher’s classroom already mastered five aspects of pedagogic dan professional competences. First, the teacher mastered five main subjects in elementary school. Second, the teacher mastered the competencies standard and the basic competencies in elementary school. Third, the teacher developed the learning materials of the subjects that the teacher handles; even though the teacher did not use or even created any interactive media yet. Fourth, the teacher professionalism broadened continuously through conducting CAR, self-evaluation with the help of the student’s parents and listening to the student’s advices; even though the teacher did not achieve any academic awards yet. The last aspect, the teacher utilized ICT for the student by using a laptop, LCD, speaker, the internet, and a mobile phone to communicate with the student’s parents.
