PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di SD Negeri Kaliajir Berbah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan model Kemmis dan MC Taggart yang berlangsung dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV. Peningkatan prestasi belajar dapat dilihat dari hasil evaluasi setiap siklus yang mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan ketuntasan prestasi belajar pada pratindakan sebesar 40%, siklus I sebesar 63,33%, siklus II sebesar 76,67%, dan siklus III sebesar 90%. Peningkatan ketuntasan siswa juga diikuti kenaikan rata-rata siswa, yaitu pada pratindakan sebesar 59,60, siklus I sebesar 64,63, siklus II sebesar 71,03, dan siklus III sebesar 72,43.

Abstract
This research aims at improving the learning achievement of fourth grade students in social studies using the jigsaw type in SD Kaliajir Berbah. This was Classroom Action Research which used Kemmis and MC Taggart models that occurs in three cycles. The subjects of this research were 30 students. The data were collected through tests, observations, and documentations. The analysis data used quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of this research shows that learning by using jigsaw type can improve learning achievement. It can be seen by the results of evaluation of each cycle that has increased. The completeness increment of student learning achievement in pre-action is 40%, 1st cycle is 63.33%, 2nd cycle is 76.67%, and 3rd cycle is 90%. It was also followed by an increase in the average of students score, in pre-action is 59.60, cycle I is 64.63, cycle II is 71.03, and cycle III is 72.43.
