PENGEMBANGAN KARTU UNO BUNDO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV SDN BANTULAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Kartu UNO BUNDO (Budaya Indonesia) guna meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Bantulan Kabupaten Bantul. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model Borg and Gall (1983). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan uji t sampel berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar IPS. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi dari ahli media memperoleh skor 4 (sangat layak), ahli materi memperoleh skor 3,83 (sangat layak), uji coba perorangan memperoleh skor 3,5 (sangat layak), uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh skor 3,59 (sangat layak), dan uji coba lapangan memperoleh skor 3,61 (sangat layak). Rata-rata skor motivasi belajar meningkat dari 70% menjadi 90% setelah menggunakan media dan hasil analisis uji-t memperoleh nilai t hitung 12,142 lebih besar dari t tabel 2,056 dan nilai sig 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Rata-rata prestasi belajar IPS meningkat dari nilai 42 menjadi 72 setelah menggunakan media,
hasil analisis uji-t memperoleh nilai t hitung 12,810 lebih besar dari t tabel 2,056 dan nilai sig 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05.

Abstract

This research aim at determining the feasibility of BUNDO UNO Card learning media to increasing the motivation and Social Studies learning achievement for fourth grade students of SDN Bantulan, Bantul Regency. This research was a research and development with Borg and Gal’s model. The data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive and paired sample t-test. The results show that the feasibility of BUNDO UNO Card learning media is good and can increase the students’ motivation and Social Studies learning achievement. This is evidence by the result of the validation from media expert which scored 4 (very feasible),
material expert which scored 3.83 (very feasible), individual trials which scored 3.5 (very feasible), small group trials which scored 3.59 (very feasible), and field trial which scored 3.61 (very feasible). The average learning motivation score increase from 70% to 90% after using the media and the results of the t-test analysis obtaine the value of t-count=12,142 which is greater than the value of t-table=2,056 and the value of sig=0,000 which is smaller than 0.05. The average of Social Studies learning achievement increase from 42 to 72 after using the media, the results of the t-test analysis obtaine the value of t-count=12.810 which is greater than the value of the t-table=2.056 and the value of sig=0.000 which is less
than 0.05.
