Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi pengelolaan kelas di kelas VI SD Negeri Polengan 1 Kabupaten Magelang tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan kelas dilakukan dengan cara pengelolaan fisik, pendekatan pengelolaan kelas, dan prosedur pengelolaan kelas. Pengelolaan fisik telah menerapkan lima prinsip: 1) visibility, 2) accesibility, 3) fleksibility, 4) kenyamanan, dan 5) keindahan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah: 1) kekuasaan, 2) ancaman, 3) pengajaran, 4) pengubahan tingkah laku, 5) sosioemosional, 6) proses kelompok, dan 7) kebebasan. Prosedur pengelolaan kelas yang dilaksanakan adalah prosedur preventif dan kuratif.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to describe the implementation of classroom management at 6th grade of SD N Polengan 1, Magelang in 2018/2019. This research useddescriptive qualitative approach.The subjects were teacher, students, and the school principle. Data source techniques used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was checked using triangulation of data source and technique.The results showed that classroom management approaches applied were conducted by implementing physical classroom management, classroom management approaches, and classroom management procedures. Physical classroom management had implemented five principles: 1) visibility, 2) accessibility, 3) flexibility, 4) convenience, 5) aesthetic. Approaches that applied: 1) authoritative, 2) threatening, 3) teaching, 4) behavior modification, 5) socio-emotional, 6) grouping,7) freedomClass management procedures that had been implemented were preventive and curative procedures.
