HUBUNGAN INTENSITAS PEMBERIAN TUGAS RUMAH (PR) DENGAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS II SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas pemberian tugas rumah (PR) dengan kemandirian belajar. Kemandirian belajar merupakan sikap dan perilaku siswa dalam mengatur sendiri kegiatan belajar dengan memberdayakan kemampuan yang dimiliki dan meminimalkan ketergantungan terhadap orang lain dalam mencapai tujuan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif ex-post facto dan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Jetis sejumlah 592 siswa dengan sampel penelitian 239 siswa yang ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala bertingkat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus Korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara intensitas pemberian tugas rumah (PR) dengan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas II SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Jetis dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,855 dan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (0,000 ≤ 0,05).

Abstract
This study aims at determining the relationship between the intensity of homework giving and independent learning. Independent learning is student’s attitude and behavior in organizing their learning activity which empower their own skill and minimalize their dependence toward other people in achieving the purpose of learning. This study used the ex-post facto quantitative approach with correlation research type. The population in this research was 2nd grade students of elementary school in Jetis in academic year of 2018/2019with a total of 592 students and 239 students were taken as the sample using Slovin Formula. The technique for collecting data used psychological scale. The analysis prerequisite test that had been used are the normality and linearity test. The hypothesis test used Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula. The result of the study show positive and significant relationship between the intensity of homework giving and independent learning of 2nd gradestudents of elementary school in Jetis in academic year of 2018/2019 by the result of the Pearson Product Moment Correlation such as 0.855 and the significant level at 0.000 (0.000 ≤ 0.05).
