PENINGKATAN KARAKTER PEDULI SOSIAL MELALUI MODEL ROLE PLAYING PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD 1 SEKARSULI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan karakter peduli sosial pada siswa kelas IV SD 1 Sekarsuli dengan menggunakan model role playing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD 1 Sekarsuli. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model role playing dapat meningkatkan karakter peduli sosial siswa. Tahapan model role playing, diantaranya (1) memilih masalah, (2) pemilihan peran, (3) menyusun tahap-tahap bermain peran, (4) menyiapkan pengamat, (5) pemeranan, (6) diskusi dan evaluasi, (7) pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata persentase karakter peduli sosial dari siklus I 78%, dan siklus II 81%.

Abstract
This research is aim at increasing social caring character to the student of grade IV of SD 1 Sekarsuli, through the model of role playing. This was collaborative classroom action research. The subject of the research were the fourth grade students. This research was conducted using Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. The techniques of collecting data were observation and questionaire. The result of the research show that the implementation of role playing model can increase the social caring character. The steps of role playing model are (1) choosing the problem, (2) choosing the role, (3) arranging the steps of role playing, (4) preparing the observer, (5) role playing, (6) discussing and evaluating, (7) taking a conclusion. The result show the percentase average of the social caring character from the first cycle is 78%, and the second cycle is 81%.
