HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL ORANGTUA DENGAN DISIPLIN BELAJAR SISWA SD KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian dukungan sosial orangtua dengan disiplin belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif korelasi ex-post facto. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa SD kelas IV. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis dekriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel pemberian dukungan sosial orangtua termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai antara 75,663 – 92,597 persentase sebesar 65,87%. Variabel disiplin belajar termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai antara 71,605 – 86,935 persentase sebesar 67,46%. Nilai korelasi sebesar 0,607 berada di antara 0,60 – 0,799 termasuk kategori kuat. Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa tedapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pemberian dukungan sosial orangtua dengan disiplin belajar siswa.

Abstract
The research aims to determine the correlation between giving social support of parents with discipline learning elementary school students grade IV. The type of the research was ex-post facto quantitative. The data analysis techniques was descriptive analysis. The result of the reasearch showed that variables of discipline learning in the medium catgory with score between 71,605 – 86,935. Variables of giving social support of parents in the medium category with score 75,663 – 92,597. Correlation score of 0,607 were among 0,60-0,799 included in the strong category. These results proved that there is a positive and significant correlation between giving social support of parents with discipline learning.
